Welcome to Write About It Wednesday, Writers, and Happy Spring! Yesterday was the Spring Equinox, so it is official, Spring is here! Even if Mother Nature hasn’t quite got the message yet. I hear some of you are expecting another snow storm. Here in my part of the world, it’s just another windy, dirt-blowing day. Feel free to send some of the snow my way. We need the precipitation.
For me, Spring conjures up images of baby animals and flowers blooming — pretty typical stuff. Straight out of a children’s book on Springtime.
For today’s Write About It Wednesday, let’s try to think outside of the box when it comes to Spring.
- Write about the Spring Fairy’s nemesis. Who would that character be?
- Write about a character who hates the Springtime. Why do they hate it?
- Write about destructive Spring weather. (tornadoes, melting snow causing floods, pollen…)
I hope your little writing gears are grinding away in your head, ready to set pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard).
